Best Practices

Section titled “Use Clear, Customer-Friendly Names”Avoid technical jargon. Use names like:
- “Single Vision Distance” instead of “SV Distance Only”
- “Varifocal” or “Progressive” instead of “PAL”
- “Reading Glasses” instead of “SV Near”
Provide Helpful Descriptions
Section titled “Provide Helpful Descriptions”Good descriptions help customers make informed decisions:
- “For distance vision correction” (Single Vision Distance)
- “Optimized for computer and intermediate distance” (Single Vision Computer)
- “For close-up reading and near vision” (Single Vision Reading)
- “Progressive lenses for all distances” (Varifocal)
- “Two distinct viewing areas for distance and near” (Bifocal)
Configure Varifocal Types
Section titled “Configure Varifocal Types”When a customer selects “Varifocal” in Step 1, they will be prompted with an additional follow-up step to choose a varifocal type (Basic, Advanced, Elite, Occupational).
Configure these options on the Varifocal Types page.
